Press Release The preparation period of the International Exhibition “Flowers”, the major flower project of the year, has been completed. The largest annual exhibition of plants, materials and equipment for ornamental gardening and flower business in Russia will receive its participants for the 17th time. Over these years the exhibition has gained prestige and recognition among domestic and international participants. Today “Flowers” is the largest and the most representative exhibition of B2B (Business to Business) class for professionals held in Russia and the major event of the year for those who are related to flowers. Like in previous years its indoor display is located on two floors of Pavilion No. 69. The total exhibition space together with open-air displays will make up 36 000 sq.m. Unique in its scale the project is still the most popular one in flower business of Russia, and in spite of the world financial crisis it demonstrates the current level of development and prospects of both Russian and world flower markets. The exhibition is supported by Federal Authorities, the Government of Moscow, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, by Professional and Public Associations. 700 companies from 30 countries of the world representing the entire range of products of this important sector of economy have already applied for the exhibition. Among Russian participants of the exhibition there are all large operators of the local flower market: “Business-Bouquet”, “7 Tsvetov”, “Azalia”, “NK-Ltd.” corporation, “Amadei” and many others. Russian producers take an active part in the exhibition. They are the following companies: “Moszelenhoz”, “Galantus”, Belaya Dacha Tsvety”; “Moscovskiy” agro-holding, “Aelita” agro-firm, greenhouse complexes: ‘Yuzhnyi”, “Rose Garden”, “Mokshanskiy”, “Egorievskoe”, “Chekhov Garden”, “New Holland”; nurseries: “Gavrish”, “Flora-Skaz”, “Europark”, “Savvateevyh”, “Opytno-selectsionnyi”; seed companies: “Russkiy Ogorod”, “Sedek”, “Poisk”, “Sevita”, “Agbina”. Large informative displays are presented by international participants. Among them there are world flower business leaders, the largest European nurseries, rose breeding companies from France, Germany and Great Britain. Large National stands are organized by Holland, Germany, Denmark, Ecuador, Colombia, France, Italy and Poland. Companies from Byelorussia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Israel, Belgium, Austria, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro and China also take part in the exhibition. Machinery and equipment for gardening, landscaping and greenhouses of Russian and international manufacturers are being more fully displayed from year to year. Among participants there are reputable greenhouse builders and producers of technological equipment. They are Russian companies: “Agrisovgaz”, “Agrotip PKF”, “PKF Greenhouse Technologies”, “Agroinvestproject”; “Kress GlassKon” (Germany), “Bonar TF” and Deforshe” (Belgium), “Hortilux” and “Agrolux” (Holland), etc. An extensive business program is being prepared for the exhibition: 2nd September – International Scientific and Practical Conference on resource

2nd September – National Day of France. National Days of Germany, Colombia, Ecuador and Italy are also on the program. Every day the best florists of the participating companies will conduct floristic master-classes and shows in the Large Conference Hall. Delegations from Flower Growers Associations of Holland, Colombia, Ecuador, South Africa, Croatia, Kenya, Kazakhstan and other countries are planning to visit the exhibition. There will also be stands of the largest sister exhibition on flower business: “Hortifair” (Holland), “International Pflanzen Messe” (Germany), “HortiFlora Expo China” (China), “IFEX” (Japan).
