The international exhibition «Flowers» is the largest and most professional exhibition held in Russia on that subject.
The exhibition is also considered an authoritative event by foreign firms most of which started their businesses in Russia just with participating in «Flowers» exhibitions.
The main goal of the exhibition is a demonstration of the world's accomplishments in floriculture and flower arrangement, landscape gardening and architecture; creation of healthy and comfortable human habitat and promotion of further development of flower business in Russia while rendering concrete assistance to national flower producers in incresing efficiency of their production.
The RF Chamber of Industry and Commerce is extending its patronage to the exhibition «Flowers». Since 1998, «Flowers» are conducted under the auspices of the UFI International Union.
Some 500 firms took part in the exhibition from 25 countries of the world: Armenia, Byelorussia, Belgium, Colombia, Denmark, Equador, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine. United States, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
There were more then 300 firms and companies from 25 regions of Russia participating in the last exhibition «Flowers».
Area of the exhibition «Flowers-2004» - 24 000 sq. metres.
Present at the exhibition were Russian Association of Flower Growers, Russian National Guild of Florists, Non-profit Partnership for Flower Business Development in Russia, Flower Council of Holland, German Union of Florists, Latvias Darznieks Association, Union of Lithuanian Flower Growers, Colombian Association of Flower Exporters ASO-COLFLORES, Confederation of German Trade Fair and Exhibition Industries AUMA, Italian Flower Market Group, Polish Nurserymen Association, Polish Corporation of Economic Initiatives, etc.
«Flowers» is not only demonstration of the world's accomplishments in greenery and floriculture, italso an unforgettable splendid show flowers.
