The 2002 exhibition demonstrated over 30 000 variety samples of floricultural and ornamental crops, over 170 promising species of coniferous and perennial foliage trees for landscaping, over 1 000 potted indoor plants, about 400 000 fresh cut flowers. The visitor could also see over 2 000 samples of technological materials for floriculture, ornamental gardening, flower business and flower arrangement (fertilizers, means of plant protection, packaging and accessory materials for floristics), about 200 000 samples of ceramic, plastic and metal articles (garden furniture, pergolas, light and sculpture items). All the products have been remarkable not only due to their great diversity in form and color, but to their high quality.
Another particular feature of the exhibition is that here one can meet a great number of potential partners and firms interested in cooperation.
Over the five days of its functioning, the exhibition was attended by 110 000 visitors, among them 30 000 experts and trade visitors. All the firms successfully conducted negotiations, obtained promising business proposals, extended their contacts and businesses. Exhibitors and guests of the exhibition were offered an interesting and intensive program of business events. All planned competitions - for the best product quality, for the best artistic and floristic solution of the stand exposition, for the best unit of landscape design, the third open Russian contest of florists and others - have been carried out with great success. The winners were presented various awards, including several Grand Prix, diplomas and "VVC Laureate" medals.
