Rosen Tantau was established in 1906 and from the very outset took pains to cultivate various strains of roses. Rosen Tantau has come to be hailed as the top name in successful varieties of roses and innovative related products. Roughly three million cabbage roses along with seedlings for greenhouse cultivation are produced here every year on a 50-hectare site. 1.7 hectares of greenhouse space is dedicated to the cultivation of novel varieties and the selection, testing and production of seedlings.
