For the first time in Russia there was created an organization uniting professional florists and flower service businessmen, i.e. the National Guild of Florists, established on the 1st of February, 2000. The main objectives of the Guild are development of floral arrangement art in Russia, creation of a united information center, support of the national producers, organization of professional competitions, seminars and exhibitions, close cooperation with international professional organizations, etc.
